How We Choose Products

We start with a buying question, define the relevant options, and compare evidence that a reader can check. Our current guides are research-based unless an article explicitly describes hands-on testing.

Our research process

  1. Define the reader’s budget, intended use, and market. Pakistan availability and the exact product variant matter.
  2. Check manufacturer specifications or product documentation. Use retailer listings to confirm the local size, stated price, availability, and sales conditions.
  3. Compare the decision-making details. This may include cost per 100 ml, fabric composition, garment measurements, warranty terms, or charging compatibility.
  4. Explain both a reason to consider an option and a reason to skip it. A higher price or larger feature list does not automatically make a product the better choice.
  5. Link the source and date time-sensitive checks. Recheck important details before an update.

What we do not claim

Retailer star ratings are not our test results. A manufacturer’s battery-life or waterproof claim is not our measurement. We do not invent ownership, laboratory results, medical expertise, or a universal winner to make a comparison look more decisive.

Choosing and updating a shortlist

We favour a manageable set of relevant options over a long list padded with near-duplicates. An unavailable product may still be discussed as a comparison, but its availability must be clear. Prices and stock can change after publication; check the seller’s current listing.

Beauty and skincare coverage

We distinguish a cosmetic product claim from medical advice. Individual skin responses differ. Our articles do not diagnose conditions or replace advice from a qualified clinician.
