Editorial Policy

Rated.pk publishes buying guides for shoppers in Pakistan. Our aim is to make a purchase decision clearer, including when the sensible decision is to wait, choose a cheaper option, or buy nothing.

Evidence and attribution

We identify the exact product or variant being discussed, link important sources, and distinguish manufacturer claims, retailer information, calculations, and our editorial judgement. We label research-based coverage clearly. We use “tested” only when the article provides an actual testing method and evidence.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate links and other material commercial relationships should be disclosed on the relevant page. A commission opportunity does not establish that a product is good or that it belongs in a shortlist. Paid placements must be identified rather than presented as independent recommendations.

Use of AI tools

AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, and editing. They do not constitute a product test, an expert credential, or a factual source. Product details and substantive claims need a checkable source or an explicitly explained method.

Corrections and updates

When an error is identified, we aim to correct the affected claim and its supporting information. Significant updates should be described in the article. A changed publication date alone is not evidence that every price or specification has been rechecked.

Reviews and ratings

We do not fabricate customer reviews, author biographies, endorsements, or numerical scores. If we use an editorial score in future, the article must explain the criteria and evidence behind it.

To flag a factual error, include the article URL, the passage concerned, and a supporting source when contacting us.
